확률 시행/시험/실험 random experiment

확률 실험 (random experiment):
  1. 모든 가능한 결과의 집합을 알고 있고,
  2. 실험 전에 결과 중 어떤 것이 발생할 지 확실하지 않음. (완벽한 예측,prediction이 불가능함)
    이 두 성질을 갖는 실험을 확률 실험이라 함.

실험(experiment)의 결과를 outcome이라 함. (결과,outcome)
실험으로 인해 발생하는 모든 outcome의 집합을 표본공간,sample_space이라 함.

실험(experiment)이란, 자료,data의 집합,set을 만들어내는 모든(any) 과정(process).
예: 동전 던지기(toss a coin), 주사위 굴리기(roll a die), 수퍼마켓의 손님 수 세기, 등등
